Welcome!
Me and my Husband jumped at the chance to move from Finland to the US (California, no less!). We are currently living in the South Bay Area, where I feel a bit out of place. Hello, city girl trapped in suburbia! This is why I a) wander the streets of San Francisco every chance I get and b) wanted to start a blog to find like-minded ever-so-fabulous creatures.
Came here with only two suitcases of various important and less important things,
so a lot of DIY spill is on the way. I want to get you excited about doing things for yourself, too!
I have a Master in Psychology and worked in the field for a couple of years. Now I have the opportunity to try out new things, and I'm going to make good use of it. I'm flirting with the thought of a career that involves creativity, aesthetics and style somehow. No, actually, I really long for that. In my current profession I feel I can't find a creative outlet. We bought a Nikon D90 almost two years ago, and a career in photography has been on my mind for some time. Luckily, my interests are easily combinable (is that a word? Yup, I checked).
The name of the blog comes from the fact that I kind of feel like a little birdie leaping out, not knowing if I'll land on my... tail.
I'm starting to find the direction I want the blog and my career to go, hope you'll join me on my journey.
The absolute dream? Working in styling, interior design, photography... do I need to continue?
Wish me luck!
Love, Jenna H... aka Jennah
