Inspiration board, memory board, wedding board, mood board, planning board.... Whatever you wanna call it, I'm really happy with how this turned out:
I wanted to make something that would serve as a Christmas calendar (thus 24 clothespins) and would make a nice inspiration board/planning board/memory board/photo board during the rest of the year.
(The stenciled drawer chest is a previous DIY project)
How to make it:
Get a 1/4 inch 2'x2' oak plywood piece (from Lowe's at under 5 bucks). Paint it with 1 part acrylic paint (from a crafts store) and 3 parts water. You can play with the amount of water a bit, to see how much of a washed white effect you like.
Also paint the clothes pins, they need a bigger concentration of the paint.
Plan how to place the pins:
Then attach the clothes pins (I used Tacky Glue), and just wait a while :)
Did you make one of your own?

Please send me an e-mail if you want me to send you the file with the words, ready to be cut :)
This is great and I would like to make it for Christmas for my daughter. I couldn't figure out how to message you to get the file for the words. Is there a way to email you?
ReplyDeleteOh, I had forgotten to put my e-mail under my photo :) I thought the comment-moderation page would show me your e-mail (since it asks for it?) but it doesn't, sorry for the hassle!
