Hideaway: Kirjatoukka in Hanko, Finland

This is the first post in a series I want to try out:

I love interior design (especially DIYd and handmade stuff), and I want to have a post series of how others live among their DIY or other handmade items.

So this first hideaway is the guesthouse of Kirjatoukka (Bookworm) and her photographer husband  in Hanko, Finland. Their blog is in Finnish, but there are a lot of beautiful photos to gawk at!

I'll get to feature their beautiful old factory building home as well later on, so stay tuned!

Absolutely ADORE the painted mat! It is the handiwork of artist Heikki Kukkonen.
(Post about the painting here)

Surfboard handmade by Joachim Lindholm.

If you want to participate with your own hideaway:

E-mail me 3-10 photos (600px wide if square or horizontal, 400px if vertical) of your hideaway, preferably including at least two DIYd projects or handmade things.

I'll showcase the most suitable entries here on the blog. If you have links to the DIY projects or just want me to link to your own blog, I'm more than happy to!
